This was in my wip folder for a whole year. @_@ Finally sat down and finished it.
More like nearly started from scratch as I wanted to try a different coloring style. The grayscale + overlay colors and um... kinda happy with the result?
It isn`t as bad as I expected it to turn out but it isn`t exactly as good I wanted it to be either. So we have Zulah and a very badly drawn Quatzalcoatl and bunch of spirits going up.
Just wanted to do a more realistic style pic of her.

Skull brush used from here [link]
Feather stock used from here [link]
Fireball brush for the...um spirit thingies but I can`t find the brush`s creator. >_<;
About 3-4 days in total maybe.

I really admire this piece (have for awhile now) ^_^ How you've managed to get Zulah to sit in the environment is really well done.
It's screams out a 110% effort!!!! (over 9000!!!!!) 8D Skulls, snakes and Zulah 'oh my'.
One thing though..what's happening under the layers of feathers on the snake? It looks great don't get me wrong...it's just concentrating on it - It's like the wing or feathers are holding onto or extruding light, is that right? Also! Reflections, picking this out just case it's been forgotten, though you may be able to get away without them here 'cause it's magic pool
At any rate, this is super, you've brought together a lot of different tools and made something that works. From head piece adorned in metal and feathers to shimmering water - all look great.
